Gettin tattoed at an early age can affect the tattoo once you’re older. Not because of the age necessarily, but because your body is still developing.

As you grow, your skin stretches and contracts. The tattoo is therefore moved and/or deformed. The same happens when an overweight person has a tattoo and then he/she loses an important amount of weight, the tattoo gets bent out of shape.

Also, older people that have had tattoos for a long time, the tattoo does not look as it did when they first got it. That is partly because as you get older, your skin loses tightness, begins to get saggy. It’s always recomendable to wait until your body has stopped growing to get a tattoo, 18, 19 years old is a good age to get your first tatt.

It also gives you time to really think about what you want. Poeple make mistakes all the time because they rush into a tattoo, they think it will look cool, or they’re drunk when they get it. take your time to really be sure you’re going to be able to look at it every day for the rest of your life.

Age dont matter. Skin stretching will affect the appearance of the tattoo if you are not fully grown yet.

is it ok to get a tattoo at the age of 15? is it going to affect the tattoo appearance if my body grows?
